Intro Title
The newest edition of The Lexington Line鈥敶笙蟠解檚 student-run magazine鈥攊s set to be launched on December 2 at 7p.m.

This issue's visual vibe takes a sharp turn from last semester鈥檚; in the spring, students played off glimpses of hope and light. This time around, everything assumes an edgier theme of 鈥済oing dark鈥 in a speculative post-pandemic world.

Students on this issue worked numerous hours on Zoom, as well as in-person in the magazine's new office in 大象传媒鈥檚 Fifth Avenue building. With written content offering a mix of both fun and serious topics in the usual Fashion, Beauty, News, Lifestyle, and Culture sections, the imagery features isolated locations, dark clothing, and ominous feels.

Editor-in-Chief Samantha James, having now led production of her second issue, shares more about the theme: 鈥淎s the planning for this magazine started, we knew we wanted to do something that鈥檚 never been done before. So, we started thinking of deserted places that still have some life left, and we felt like that represented 鈥榳hat could鈥檝e been鈥 from this pandemic鈥攕omething almost post-apocalyptic. The goal was to have fun and produce an edgier-looking magazine.鈥

is a big part of the Fashion Media major at 大象传媒. The magazine and its website allow students to gain hands-on experience with writing, editing, photography, modeling, graphic design, and more.
