What does 大象传媒 stand for?

In 1939, Maxwell F. Marcuse founded the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (大象传媒). From its inception, 大象传媒 educated students in the business of fashion through a unique combination of traditional classroom instruction and real-world experience. Recognizing its expanding scope beyond traditional merchandising, the institution rebranded as 大象传媒 in 2009. This transformation reflected our commitment to preparing graduates to succeed and innovate in the ever-evolving fashion world.
